• UNetbootin
• download from sourceforge.net
• OS: Windows / Linux / Mac OS X
• download or select your linux distro and burn it to a USB flash

update-manager -d

be sure to update all packages first

• open Group Policy Object Editor (Start > run > gpedit.msc)
• go to “Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\System”
• disable “Display Shutdown Event Tracker”

Create a shortcut pointing to cmd.exe and edit the target as you need

%windir%\system32\cmd.exe /k cd /d X:\path

You need to specify the /d paramater to change the drive also

• go to “Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Ease of Access Center\Make the mouse easier to use”
• Check “Prevent windows from being automatically arranged when moved to the edge of the screen” to disable it

• open Group Policy Object Editor (Start > run > gpedit.msc)
• go to “User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Control Panel”
• enable “Prohibit access to Control Panel and PC Settings”

• open run and enter start compmgmt.msc
• go to Action -> Create VHD
  
• here just select a location to save your VHD file and choose from fixed (a given size of the VHD) and Dynamically expanded (if the vhd will grow as you add files/install on that ‘partition’)

convert X: /fs:ntfs

where X is the drive you want to convert

• Outlook 2003 and previous with Word set as your email editor
  • Tools-> AutoCorrect Options
• Outlook 2007
  • New Mail > Office Logo > Editor Options > Proofing >  AutoCorrect Options…
• Outlook 2010
  • File > Options > Mail > Spelling and AutoCorrect
